Understand The Tata Sky Package After The TRAI New Rule
After the TRAI new rule, the pack/plan is consist of 4 Elements

What Is NCF/BST?
NCF is the Network Capacity Fee or BST- Basic Service Tier Fee. It is the minimum and compulsory fee for all DTH, mean you have to pay at-least Rs.153 for the first 200 FTA channels
What are Operator Pack?
The Packs or Plans are created by Tata Sky them-self are called as Operator Packs like Hindi Lite Pack, Hindi Basic Pack,Tamil Lite, Malayalam Basic etc. You can see all packs from Tata Sky website
What are Broadcaster or Bouquets Packs?
The Packs or Plans are created by channel Owner are called as Broadcaster or Bouquets Packs Like STAR has Star Hindi value, SONY has Sony Happy India, ZEE has Zee Family Pack, DISNEY has Disney Kids, Disney Universal etc. You can see all packs from Tata Sky website. There pack prices are decided by the Channel Owner.
Know the Current Tata Sky Plan or Packages
To change your Tata Sky Pack or Plan, You need to know your current/existing pack. For that You need to Call 088804-88804 from your Tata Sky Register Mobile Number (RMN). By this you got your plan, monthly recharge, due date, last recharge amount everything. This will help you to analysis your channels
Choose Best and Suitable Tata Sky Curated Packs or Operator Packs
As it is compulsory to choose BST Pack, but is not compulsory to choose from Tata Sky Curated Packs or Operator Packs. If the pack is suitable for you or the channels you want that fall in the Tata Sky Curated Packs or Operator Packs you can choose that is good but only till Rs.200-Rs.200. Beyond Rs.200 it is not best to choose, then you can choose from Broadcaster/Bouquets Packs or Single Channels. Visit once all Tata Sky packs and packages
Choose From SD or HD
If you have LED TV or You are looking for single channel to add, it is best you can add HD channel as it costs the same amount of SD channel
Best Practice to Make Optimize Tata Sky Packs
If you choose 2 single channels of sane Broadcast Like from SONY- you choose Sony Sab (Rs.22) and Sony Entertainment (Rs.22), instead of this choose the the Broadcast/Bouquets packs of that have both channels, it will cost you less as compare to single single channels.
